The Raypak 017741 Crosswind 65-I Heat/Cool Pump steps up the Crosswind platform's inverter-driven efficiency to 61,000 BTU of heating capacity, giving larger residential pools fast, consistent temperature recovery. A spiral titanium heat exchanger provides a corrosion-resistant waterway built to handle years of chlorinated or salt-chlorinated pool water.
Like the rest of the Crosswind lineup, the 65-I uses an inverter-driven compressor that continuously modulates output to match demand instead of cycling fully on and off, improving efficiency and reducing wear. Its low-speed fan design keeps operating noise to a minimum, an important consideration for backyards with nearby seating or neighboring properties.
Digital controls manage heat, cool, and automatic defrost cycling, and the unit is built on the same AHRI-tested Crosswind platform as the 50-I. The titanium heat exchanger tube is backed by a 10-year parts warranty, with 2 years labor and 7 years parts coverage on the balance of the unit.
