Like the rest of the E3T lineup, the 017122 uses a titanium heating element housed in 316L stainless steel construction, giving it strong resistance to the corrosive effects of chlorinated and salt-chlorinated pool water. Flow sensor technology activates the heating element once a minimum 15 GPM flow rate is achieved, protecting the element from dry-firing. Standard union connections simplify installation into new or existing equipment pads.
