The Raypak 009220 P-R206A-EN-C #51 Digital Natural Gas Pool & Spa Heater delivers 199,500 BTU of natural gas heating in a factory high-altitude configuration, built specifically for installations between 2,000 and 5,999 feet above sea level. At elevation, air density drops and a standard heater will not burn correctly — the #51 designation means the burner and orifice are set at the factory for that elevation band rather than adjusted in the field.

A copper fin-tube heat exchanger provides excellent thermal conductivity and fast heat transfer, while corrosion-resistant polymer headers connect directly to 2-inch PVC plumbing for straightforward installation. The integrated ProTek Shield™ module helps protect the heat exchanger from premature wear caused by poor water chemistry, and the Unitherm Governor® minimizes condensation and thermal shock to extend heater life.

Digital LCD controls give precise temperature adjustment with built-in diagnostic reporting, and electronic ignition eliminates the standing pilot. The 009220 is the high-altitude counterpart to the standard-elevation 009216 — same 206A size and construction, different factory elevation setup.
