The Pentair 523624 IntelliCenter Lite i5PS pairs the shared-equipment i5PS personality with a Power Center enclosure for a pool and spa running on one set of equipment. It gives five relays and automates the intake and return valve changeover between the two bodies of water, with the same colour touchscreen and Pentair Pool app experience as the full IntelliCenter platform.

Please note this is a legacy part number. Pentair now lists 523624 among the superseded IntelliCenter Lite numbers, with 523910 as the current equivalent in the same Pool/Spa configuration. The hardware is otherwise as described. The enclosure is a Power Center with no breaker panel — Pentair's own wording is that Lite bundles ship a power center rather than a load center with a 125 A breaker bus — so an external electrical subpanel must already exist at the pad. Chemistry is not included: Pentair states that IntelliCenter Lite bundles do not include water chemistry solutions, so no salt cell and no salt transformer ship with this system. Two ComPool CVA-24 valve actuators (Pentair P/N 263045, 24 V AC, 180-degree rotation) are included. These are valve actuators, despite being described elsewhere in the trade as controllers.

Control is through the IntelliCenter touchscreen and the Pentair Pool app, covering scheduling, independent pool and spa setpoints, equipment status and remote access. This SKU is one of the Lite versions supplied with the high-power wireless link — Pentair identifies only 523668 and 523669 as the versions without it. Remote access can alternatively run over a hard-wired Cat-5 Ethernet connection into the main board. Pentair describes IntelliCenter Lite as an expandable system with the same functionality as a full IntelliCenter.
