The Pentair IntelliCenter 521908 i10PS is the largest shared-equipment bundle in this generation, giving ten functions — a dedicated filter pump circuit plus nine auxiliary circuits — for a pool and spa served by one pump, filter and heater. Nine auxiliaries covers an elaborate equipment pad: multiple colour lighting zones, a cleaner, a booster pump, water features and solar, with intake and return valve control built in for automated pool-to-spa changeover.

This is a legacy part number. Pentair's Transition Guide supersedes 521908 with 523965, and it has dropped out of the current 2025–2026 catalogue. The re-numbering was driven by the salt cell moving from IntelliChlor IC40 to IntelliChlor Plus40 (523735). The system ships in an IntelliCenter Load Center with a 150 A built-in circuit breaker subpanel and five pre-installed high-voltage relays, the i10PS personality adding five more for ten in total. Both the salt chlorine generator transformer and a salt cell are included, along with two IntelliValve valve actuators.

A note on the cell. Pentair's SKU page, replacement-parts sheet and Automation Transition document all describe 521908 as shipping the IntelliChlor IC40, while the Transition Guide's cell column reads “Yes, ICL Plus40” — a column that most plausibly describes the replacement part number. We list IC40 on the strength of the SKU-specific sources; confirm with your distributor at time of order. Control is through the IntelliCenter colour touchscreen and the Pentair Pool app, with the outdoor wireless antenna included, and expansion runs over RS-485 across up to three enclosures for as many as 39 auxiliary circuits using the i5X and i10X boards.
