The Pentair IntelliCenter 521907 i5PS is the five-function shared-equipment system supplied without salt chlorination — the smallest complete pool-and-spa IntelliCenter bundle in a Load Center enclosure. It provides a dedicated filter pump circuit plus four auxiliary circuits and automates the intake and return valve changeover for a pool and spa running on one pump, filter and heater.

As with 521904, the 521xxx part number is not a sign of obsolescence. Pentair re-numbered only its salt bundles when the IntelliChlor cell changed from IC40 to Plus40; the no-salt systems kept their original numbers and 521907 remains in Pentair's current 2025–2026 catalogue. The bundle ships in an IntelliCenter Load Center with a built-in 150 A circuit breaker subpanel and five pre-installed high-voltage relays. Two IntelliValve valve actuators are included for the intake and return diverters. There is no salt cell and no salt chlorine generator transformer in this box — worth noting if IntelliChlor might be added later, because the transformer would then also be required.

Operation is through the IntelliCenter outdoor panel with colour touchscreen and remotely through the Pentair Pool app, with the outdoor wireless antenna supplied. The system provides independent pool and spa temperature setpoints, scheduling, variable-speed pump control, heater management and colour lighting control. Expansion runs over RS-485 across up to three enclosures for as many as 39 auxiliary circuits, using the i5X and i10X expansion boards, a valve expansion card or a pool cover card.
