It is the compact spa-size fixture for a Pentair spa niche, producing five fixed colors (blue, green, magenta, white and red) and seven pre-programmed light shows (SAm, Party, Romance, Caribbean, American, California Sunset and Royal). Pentair's reflector and lens geometry are designed for even coverage without hot spots or glare.

Be aware before ordering: Pentair has discontinued the IntelliBrite 5G line and directs buyers to the IntelliBrite Architectural Series. Pentair's cross-reference grid names Architectural Series 602204 (IntelliBrite Architectural Series Spa Multi-Color 120V 18W 150 ft) as the replacement for this exact part number. The 5G is a 120-volt fixture that must be connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit, and Pentair states it must be installed only in Pentair (Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Pentair Pool Products, American Products, Purex or PacFab) niches. It pairs with Pentair's IntelliTouch, EasyTouch and SunTouch control systems, IntelliCenter, or the optional Color Sync Controller. Like all Pentair UL Listed underwater lights it is certified for fresh water with up to 6,000 ppm salinity. A note on voltage: Pentair's installation manual (P/N 620278 Rev C), its 2023 US lights catalog and its 2024 Architectural Series cross-reference grid all list 640123 as the 120-volt, 18-watt, 150-foot spa light, and its Architectural Series successor 602204 is likewise 120 V. The specification table on the current pentair.com IntelliBrite 5G Color family page shows 640123 as 12 VAC, which disagrees with those three documents; we list the figures from the manual, catalog and cross-reference grid.
