The Pentair EasyTouch 521150 8SC-IC60 is the largest-capacity salt configuration in the EasyTouch range, pairing the eight-function shared-equipment panel with the IC60 cell for pools up to 60,000 gallons. It controls the filter pump plus seven auxiliary circuits, with eight feature circuits and an auxiliary-extra circuit on top for sixteen controllable functions in total, and automates the intake and return valve changeover between pool and spa.

The system ships in an EasyTouch Load Center with a built-in 120/240 VAC 150 A circuit breaker base and space for ten one-inch breakers; the breakers themselves are field-supplied. The IntelliChlor transformer is factory-built into the Load Center and the IC60 cell ships with the system — the largest cell in the IntelliChlor range, producing roughly 2.0 lb of chlorine per 24 hours. Two CVA-24T motorised valve actuators (P/N 263045) are included, along with water and air temperature sensors on 25-foot cables.

A note on the cell part number. Pentair's own documents disagree: the IntelliChlor installation guide prints “IC60 Cell (P/N 520105)” while Pentair's Automation Transition document maps this system to cell 521105. We have not chosen between them, and have listed the cell by model rather than by part number. Separately, be aware that 520556 is not the IC60 cell — Pentair's documentation identifies 520556 as the IntelliChlor PC100 Power Center, and that mix-up is common in the trade. EasyTouch has no built-in Wi-Fi or app control; ScreenLogic2 is compatible but sold separately (522104, 520500 or 520639). Pentair discontinued the EasyTouch line on 29 September 2023, with IntelliCenter as the recommended replacement — for this configuration, 521904 paired with an IC60 cell.

Specify this where a large pool and spa needs the biggest IntelliChlor cell and the installation is being matched to existing EasyTouch hardware. On a new build, an IntelliCenter system with an IC60 gives the same sanitising capacity with current support and app control included.
