The Jandy JRT4001R VersaTemp Pool Heat & Chill Pump is a reversing heat pump that both heats and chills pool water, delivering 160,000 BTU of capacity from a compact 32" x 32" footprint.

A titanium heat exchanger stands up to salt water and aggressive pool chemistry, and the reversing refrigeration circuit lets a single unit serve both warm-water comfort heating and cold-water recovery or cold-plunge applications.

With a COP of 5.9, the VersaTemp moves several times more heat energy than the electricity it consumes, making it substantially cheaper to run than gas heating in moderate climates. It requires a 230V single-phase supply with 50 A minimum circuit ampacity and accepts 30 to 70 GPM through 2" water connections.
