The Hayward H250FDNASME Universal H-Series ASME Low NOx Natural Gas Pool & Spa Heater delivers 250,000 BTU in an ASME-certified vessel - the entry point into Hayward's commercial-grade range and the specification required by code in most commercial installations.
It pairs a patented Cupro-Nickel Finn Plate heat exchanger with totally managed flow and a low-lead bronze header with patented bypass design. That combination is chosen for commercial duty cycles, salt water, and the high-chlorine chemistry typical of hotel, club, and municipal pools. An ASME pressure relief valve is standard and the vessel is rated to 125 PSI.
At 195 lbs and 25 inches wide it is the most compact ASME heater Hayward builds, which makes it practical for smaller commercial pools, spas, and therapy pools where a full 400K unit would be oversized.
