The Hayward CrystaLogic 320 LAWUS11030 is a 1.5-inch white LED accent light with a 30-foot cord. Hayward rates it at 1100 lumens and 20 watts on 12 volts, equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent, and lists it as the brighter of two CrystaLogic accent brightness levels (320 and 160). It is intended for steps, water features, baja shelves, bubblers and similar spots where a full-size niche light will not fit.
Hayward states the light installs just 4 inches below the waterline with as little as 9 inches of PVC conduit, in wet or dry settings, and that it lasts ten times longer than incandescent bulbs. It is a plain white light – there are no colors or shows – and it is not OmniDirect compatible, so it is switched from a standard circuit or an automation relay. UL and cUL listed.
As a 12-volt light it must be powered from a suitable transformer, which is not included. Warranty is three years on parts and one year on labor, extended when purchased through a Hayward Rewards partner.
