The Pentair 461112 ETi Pool & Spa Heater delivers 250,000 BTU at 94% thermal efficiency - a full ten points above the 84% that conventional pool heaters achieve, and rising to 96% on propane.

The titanium heat exchanger is the other differentiator. Titanium is immune to corrosion from salt, chlorine, and condensate acidity - the last of which is what destroys copper exchangers in condensing applications.
